As with working in person the beauty with video counselling is, we are able to see each other and benefit from all the communication that goes along with being able to do so. Video counselling means you can attend a session from the ease of your own home or any other space which is quite and private, any in the world.
For many this can offer a desirable alternative to attending physically while still keeping the advantages of being able to see each other and respond in the here and now. I’ve been working as an integrative humanistic counsellor for many years and have trained with ACTO approved online counselling course.
Some may find the idea of where to start daunting for many reasons, ranging from worries around technology to sharing or confronting issues which have been avoided. I’m here with the aim of starting this process as simply and smooth as possible.
We would begin with email contact and maybe a telephone call. This would be to clarify any details which may be needed to see if Video counselling is right for you, if we are well suited and our timing match.
I will do my upmost to give you clear information about how the whole process works such as, who makes the initial contact at the beginning of the session and what to do if there are technical difficulties, alongside other questions or concerns you might have.
